About TI 2012
The First Encounter Tijuana Innovadora 2010, the Smart Frontier, was an initiative that highlighted the virtues and strengths that make of Tijuana a vital, unique and an innovative city for the world.
What originally started as an event to show the real image of Tijuana, became a national movement, since other cities in Mexico were inspired by this successful model to dignify and promote their own communities.
The main objective is to show the community, the country and strategic worldwide audiences, the innovations that, in matters of education, science, culture, art and technology, are exported from Tijuana to the world.
On 2012 we went for respect, and we gained it. On the Second Encounter Tijuana Innovadora, which will be held from October 11th to 21st on 2012, we are working on a new challenge: Magnificence, because by magnifying Tijuana, Mexico is magnified.
