Of the seven hundred electronics industry companies that exist in Mexico, at least two hundred are located in Baja California and seventy percent of these are located in Tijuana. This sector of the economy generates approximately eighty-three thousand direct jobs, locally, and our border continues its leadership position with regard to the manufacture of big screen televisions, plasma and LCD screens.
